Exterior of motor is not painted or coated in any way, making it highly resistant to washdowns, high humidity or wet environments. Motors feature 303 stainless steel shaft, frame, and base for superior protection against rust and corrosion. Nitrile gasket on conduit box prevents moisture and chemcials from entering the motor. Motors meet NEMA MGI Part 31 Inverter-Duty use with laser-etched nameplate. Uses: FOr extended life on equipment in food, beverage, or chemical processing plants where motor is constantly exposed to high pressure washdowns or other high humidity or wet environments.
